YWMC Receives Seed Grant from the Transformational Partnerships Fund

The Coalition is pleased to have received funding from the Transformational Partnerships Fund, which provides support for institutions of higher education to explore student-centric partnerships.

The grant awarded to the Coalition will help to defray the costs of exploring an institutional research collaboration involving five member schools: Calumet College of St. Joseph, Coker University, Heritage University, Vaughn College and Villa Maria College. The grant will be used to defray the costs associated with exploring the current IR capability and needs of each of these YWMC schools, all of which have made a contribution of $1000 to the project.

The consultant selected to do the assessment is Seamless Strategies. The assessment will cover organizational structure; stakeholder identification and impact on the IR function; inventory of IR business processes and functions; responsibility assignment matrix (RAC) and inventory of IT systems and tools used in the IR office. A report summarizing the findings and offering considerations for creating productive partnerships for joint IR appointments or other collaborative ways to better address the IR needs of the participants will be provided.

The Coalition is grateful to the Transformational Partnerships Fund for the support and confidence they have provided.
