Ann Landis
Program Manager

Ann Landis is the Program Manager for the Yes We Must Coalition, helping to guide research, facilitation and management of Coalition collaborative projects and initiatives and helping to grow participation in the collaborations undertaken by the Coalition by member institutions. Dr. Landis has over 25 years of experience in higher education. She served as Executive Vice President and Provost at Thomas University from 2006-2016, providing strategic leadership for Academic Affairs and Enrollment Management, including program growth and management, development of online, satellite, and international programs, community academic partnerships, and operational matters relating to the academic mission. She also served in the roles of Division Chair, Associate Dean, and Dean of Arts and Science as well as being a faculty member in English and Humanities.

Prior to her service at Thomas University, Dr. Landis taught English and Humanities at Bluffton University in Ohio and at Florida State University. She holds a PhD in Humanities from Florida State University, a MA in English from James Madison University, and a BA in English and Education from Eastern Mennonite University.

Barbara Kirby
Operations Manager

Barbara Kirby is the Operations Manager for the Yes We Must Coalition and brings to this position over 26 years of experience supporting senior academic administrators at the college and secondary school level. She has helped to author and organize accreditation self studies, grant proposals and reports; scheduled site visits for accreditation teams, campus visits for job candidates and appointments for college presidents with key donors and influencers; served as liaison to and acting secretary for Boards of Trustees; participated on search committees and commencement planning committees; done editing and proofreading for publications; and has Development experience that includes a 4-month assignment as Interim Director of Development. Her employment history includes: Executive Assistant to the President, Pine Manor College, Chestnut Hill, MA; Assistant to the Head of the Upper School, Thayer Academy, Braintree, MA; and Assistant to the Head of School, Oakwood Friends School, Poughkeepsie, NY. She holds a BA from Wellesley College and a Certificate with Merit from the Special Course for College Women at the Katharine Gibbs School.
